He broke his shoulder at 85 diving out of a tree at the swimming hole at Holmes creek, two miles from the farm. He married, legit, a 35 year old grass widow at 85. She claimed abuse and relieved him of numerous pieces of property. He went to another son`s whose family would not make his morning toddy, spent his money; then my grand daddy put him the thepick up, threw the trunk of Capt. George in the back--all that was left and brought him home. I have a Wiggins collection, and they were a hardy lot--went back to Colonial time. Might have had the best race horse in the colonies, Woodhamwill---I think. Maybe in the genes, I raised horses for 35 years, maybe my native american genes. thanks for the other connection, was threatened with lawsuit by some descendants of siblings of Daddy Sowell, who thought they came fromvestal virgins!
