Carl Jones Grantham CARL JONES GRANTHAM 1924 - 2010 Carl Jones Grantham, age 85, of Pensacola, passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2010, surrounded by hisloved ones. Carl was born December 2, 1924. He was a World War II and Korean WarVeteran. Carl was employed with Armstrong for 32 years. He enjoyed outdoor life, especially gardening and fishing. Carl loved his family and was affectionatelycalled "Papa" by his grandchildren. Carl was preceded in death by his parents,Albert Stegall and Hetti Beatric Grantham, and his daughter, Shirley Grantham.Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Catherine Grantham; his children, LindaBoyer, Betty Carnley, William Grantham and Wayne Grantham; his grandchildren, Steve, Regina, Jimmie, Sheri, Lori, Kim, Malisha and Nathan; his great-grandchildren, Joshua, Timothy, Austin, Jordyn, Cody, Brandon, Megan, April, Becca, Katie,Shelby, Shannon and Travis; his great-great-grandchildren, Caylee and Caleb. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Pastor Billy Hensen officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church onehour prior to service time. Faith Chapel Funeral Home South, 100 Beverly Parkway, Pensacola is in charge of arrangements.
