F. Kaufman</i> <p><strong>JAMES FAY</strong> <p>James Fay, 86, retired farmer, died yesterday at St. Elizabeth hospital. He was said to have been the oldest native of this county and farmed for many years near Number Ten. <p>Mr. Fay was born in Tippecanoe county, and since the death of his wife three years ago had made his homewith his son, Alvin Fay, 306 North Salisbury street, West Lafayette. He was a member of the Weaver Chapel U. H. church at Number Ten. Surviving are two daughters: Mrs. Elffie [sic] Duncan, of Oklahoma City, and Miss Vallie Fay, of Lafayette, and three sons, Charles O., of Detroit; Forrest, of Lafayette; and Alvin, ofWest Lafayette. Friends may call after noon Monday at the Rogers and Hendersonfuneral home, where services will be conducted at 10:30 o`clock Tuesday morning, the Rev. E. F. Williams officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven cemetery.
