Walaho IV, also known as Werner IV († probably before 891), from the family of the Walahons, was after 840 Count in Wormsgau. He was probably the progenitor of Salier. Walaho married Oda, a daughter of Rupertiners Rutpert III. (Robert III.) († before 834), count in Wormsgau and in Oberrheingau, and the Wiltrud (Waldrada) of Orleans. Oda was a sister of Guntram and Robert the Brave. On Robert III. At first his sons Guntram (until 837) and Robert the Brave (until after 840) followed as counts in Wormsgau, before their brother-in-law Walaho took over the county after the departure of Robert the Brave into the West Frankish Empire.
