Princess Isabella of Croÿ (Isabella Antonie Eleonore Natalie Klementine; 7 October 1890, L'Hermitage, Bayreuth, Kingdom of Bavaria - 30 March 1982, Schloss Leutstetten, Starnberg, Bavaria, Germany) was a Princess of Croÿ by birth and a Princess of Bavaria and member of the House of Wittelsbach through her marriage to Prince Franz of Bavaria, a son of Ludwig III, the last King of Bavaria.[1][2] Family Isabella was the second child of Karl Alfred, Duke of Croÿ, and his wife, Princess Ludmilla von Arenberg,[1][2] daughter of the 8th Duke of Arenberg. Marriage and issue Isabella married Prince Franz of Bavaria, third son of Ludwig III of Bavaria and his wife, Archduchess Maria Theresia of Austria-Este, on 8 July 1912 at Schloss Weilburg in Vienna, Austria-Hungary.[1][2] Isabella and Franz had two sons and four daughters:[1][2] Prince Ludwig of Bavaria (1913-2008), who married Princess Irmingard of Bavaria (1923-2010); Princess Maria Elisabeth of Bavaria (1914-2011), who married Prince Pedro Henrique of Orléans-Braganza (1909-1981); Princess Adelgunde Maria of Bavaria (1917-2004), who married Zdenko, Baron von Hoenning-O'Caroll (1906-1996); Princess Eleonore Marie of Bavaria (1918-2009), who married Count Konstantin of Waldburg-Zeil (1909-1972); Princess Dorothea of Bavaria (1920-2015[3]), who married Archduke Gottfried of Austria (1902-1984); Prince Rasso of Bavaria (1926-2011), who married Princess Theresa of Bavaria (b. 1931).
