JARRETT IAN MCLAUGHLIN Ithaca, New York - Jarrett Ian McLaughlin blessed his family and friends with 26 years of life.Jarrett was born on February 18, 1978 in South Bend, Indiana. He was a loving son to Leslie Wiser, Mac McLaughlin, Arnold Rivera, and Lana McLaughlin and a caring brother to his sister Quinn and brothers Cameron and Kramer. He loved Jennifer Moslemi with his whole being and made her family his own. Jarrett loved life. Wherever he went he brought a sense of community with him. He mentored kids in the classroom and on the playing field. He loved writing, traveling, playing wiffle ball with his brothers, and sharing a cold beer with old friends.To put it simply, Jarrett was a man who made you feel better. His smile and laugh could light up a room, his cooking skills could warm a home and he cloaked those around him with joy and optimism. Jarrett's life was cut short, but he lived it well and left every place he went and every person he touched better than he found them. It is for the gift of these 26 years of love and laughter that his family and friends are forever blessed. We love you Jarrett and will see you soon. Jarrett's family and friends will celebrate his life on Tuesday June 29 at 6 p.m. The celebration will be held at the Lake Washington Park Arboretum's Graham Center located at 2300 Arboretum Drive E in Seattle. In lieu of flowers, Jarrett's family asks that you send donations to the Martin Luther King School Dream Foundation, 705 Spruce St, Edmonds, WA 98020. Published in Ithaca Journal on June 26, 2004
