Scott C Trout, 29, of Dowagiac, passed away at his residence on Saturday, July 10, 2021. He was born in Berrien Center, Michigan on July 9, 1992, to Scott and Deanna (Parker) Trout. Scott graduated in 2010, from Dowagiac Union High School, with high honors. He worked in the manufacturing industry for several years. Scott was currently attending Grand Valley University, where he was pursuing a degree in psychology. Scott was immensely proud of his work ethic; he felt that he had learned that valuable trait from his father. He was an avid fan of Notre Dame Sports. He was a loving, caring, sincere man, who enjoyed spending time with family, friends, and his dog. Scott is survived by his mother Deanna Trout of Dowagiac, sister, Christina Trout (Ryan Dutoi) of Dowagiac, niece, Matalyn and nephew, Jayke Dutoi of Dowagiac; grandfather, Clare Trout of Jones; aunt Karen (Douglas) Younger of Dowagiac; and an uncle, William Parker of California He is preceded in death by his father, Scott B. Trout; grandparents, Bill and Anjean Parker, and Jane Trout. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, July 20, 2021, with visitation beginning at 4:00 PM until service time, at Brown Funeral Home, 521 E. Main St. Niles Michigan 49120. Memorial contributions may be made to his family, in care of his aunt, Karen Younger.
