Arthur was registered at birth under the name ELWIS, and married (and signed himself) also under this spelling. Actually - need to check the ACTUAL church register. Arthur Elwis buried 20/11/1929 Grave AX52 Hyde Park aged 66. In the same grave, his wife Susannah aged 67 buried 27/1/1933.
