Yeoman (1548), of Normanton, according to his will. Taxed 1524 on 40s. goods 12d. Churchwarden of Normanton 23 Hen. VIII (1532) [see Normanton Parish Register] Taxed 1545 on £10 goods 3s. 4d. His will, 14 Jun 1548, pr 16 Jun 1550, describes the ‘implements’ in the capital messuage at Altofts, which his father, John Nalson, left there to remain as heirlooms with the iron-bound chest with evidences in it
