Ancestry member tree has surname WEBSTER “From Registers of the Parish Church of Methley”: 19 Sept., 1587. Will of Agnes Gige of Methley. Bodie to be buried in the south syd of the p’ishe churche of Methley. To the poor people, fortie shillings to be bestowed at my buriall. To my sonne John Gige, £3 6s. 8d., in full satisfaccon of all his porcon that he shall haue out of my whole goodes, and to be paid to hym when he shall come to lawfull years of age. Residue unto Robt. Nalson and Mychaell Scarre, my sonnes-in-lawe, who I do ordyne my whole executors, &c. Witnesses, Robt. Warde and John Burton, wth other. John Wilson.
