Jacob was a church censor in 1683 and 1686 in Oberarnbach. &nbsp Jacob's death record is found in the Glanmunchweiler church book instead of the Mittelbrunn Lutheran Church book. Perhaps they lived away from Oberarnbach for awhile because of the unsettled times.Herr Krafft., his son-in-law, said that John Jacob Zimmer of Oberarnbach died on 1 January 1715 and was buried on 2 January 1715 at Landsthul at 53 years of age.
