als Pater Dr. Beda Kleinschmidt OFM bekanntgeworden.Trat 1888 inden Franziskanerorden ein. Erhielt die Priesterweihe am8.8.1892 in Paderborn War als Pfarrer in Kempen/Feldrom. 1905wurde er Rektor des Kollegs in Harreveld. ab 1910 in Vlodrop.1915-1919 war er Provinzialoberer.Lehrte zuletzt als Professor für Kunstgeschichte und Liturgie ander Hochschule der Franziskaner in Paderborn. Wurde 1930Ehrenbürger derStadt Brakel.
