Der Focus meiner Forschung liegt auf den Namen Brandenburger (Hoher Westerwald, LDK), Cording (Wagenfeld, Drakenburg, Bösingfeld, Wuppertal), Croll/Crollius (Marburg, Breitenbach), Schumacher und Nassut (westl. Litauen), Mares (Provinz Belluno), Hucklenbruch (Raum Duisburg Süd), Nagel (Berghausen), Wurm (Gerlingen), Fürst und Derwort (Rhön).

Außerdem versuche ich alle verbundenen (angeheirateten) Familien zumindest in Grundzügen mit zu erfassen, um ein familienhistorisches Gesamtbild zeichnen zu können. Dazu zählen u.a. die Familien Eigenbrodt und von Preuschen in Darmstadt, Rauffenbarth in Oberursel und Pfaffenwiesbach, Düren in Mettmann und Haan bzw. Gruiten u.v.a.m.
