The Wells Creek community was saddened by the news of the death of Mrs.. Conrad Beasterfeld on Jan. 6, as told in last week's Enterprise. She had been sick since last summer and underwent two operations in the Kansas City hospital. She cam home on Thanksgiving but steadily failed. She was such a good neighbor and friend that ll felt a deep sorrow in her loss.

Lena Wille Was born April 5, 1868, in Palatine, Ill., and died Jan. 6, aged nearly 57 years. She was baptized in infancy and confirmed in Barrington, Ill., April 2, 1882 receiving the verse Isaiah 43-1, which was chosen as her funeral text.

She came to Kansas 37 years ago and lived in different homes in Kaw until her marriage to Conrad Beasterfeld on April 30, 1891.

She was one of the good church workers and member of the Lutheran Ladies Aid. She has shown her self a good Christian in life and faith. she leaves to mourn, her husband, eight children; Will, George, Conrad, Richard, Mrs. Laura Pageler, Andrew, August and Rose; three brothers; Henry, August and Louie Wille and one grandchild.

Funeral services were held from the home Jan 8, at 2 pm conducted by Rev. John C Langholz. The quartet from St. Johns an duet from Wamego rendered several appropriate selections. The flowers were many and beautiful. Interment was made in Greenwood cemetery.

Card of Thanks - We wish to express our sincere thanks to all the friends who were so kind during the last illness and death of our dear wife and mother, also for the flowers and the music.
