Michel Seifken was born in Struden, Marx, Germany, November 27th 1867 and was called to his eternal reward May 2, 1937, in the Genn hospital, Wamego. He attained the age of 69 years, 5 months and 5 days. When but a lad of sixteen years, he sailed from Germany December 14, 1883 and arrived in the United States on December 28th, 1883. Mr. Seifken had been ailing in health since last summer, when he because over heated. He was taken to the Genn hospital Tuesday, April 27, where he passed away. There were 2 brothers and 4 sisters that preceded him in death. Those left to mourn his departure are; one sister, Mrs. John Pageler, and many nieces and nephews, many of them living in Germany Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Wells Creek Immanuel's Evangelical church conducted by the Rev. C. E. Wierth. Burial in the church cemetery. "No shadows there! They joyfully behold him! No cloud to dim their vision of his face! No jarring note to mar the Holy rapture, The perfect bless of that most Holy Place!"
