Birth:
He was born in January 1741 in the small town Mikstat, which is near Ostrzeszow in the province Kalisz in Poland and baptised there on the 26th of that month. His parents were Wojciech and Katarzyna Wronka. (D1)

He was a twin and grew up in Mikstat. His parents possibly owned a farm there. (D1)
Work:
In local church records he was addressed eight times as Famati and Famatorum.
In 1791 two lots of census were taken in Mikstat. His house had the number 44 in one and the number 45 in the other. His house was in the ul. Grabowska (Grabowska street). No servants were living in his house. (D9)
In 1793, when he was 52 years old, Prussia annexed this part of Poland. From 1793 to 1806 Mikstat was a part of “Suedpreussen”. In 1795 a census was undertaken of the towns including “Mixtat”. Pawel Siankiewicz is listed as Paul Szinkowitz. He was a farmer, owned house (Feuerstelle) 49 and owned one horse, one oxen and one cow. The area of his farm was 4 “Aussaat Berliner Scheffel”. (D8)
In the 1795 "Kanton Rolle" of Mikstat, he is described as a "Tageloehner". The number of his house is described as 51. (D10)
Marriage:
He married the single Jadwiga Szych, who was also from Mikstat, on the 6th of July 1767 in the Sw. Trojcy church in Mikstat. One of the witnesses was the local scribe Marcin Sielski. (D1)
They raised a family in Mikstat. (D1)
Death:
He died with an attack of diarrhoea on the 31st of October 1814 in Mikstat. He was 73 years old. He was buried in the cemetery there three days later. (D1)
