Hermann Michaelis was paid 100 Thaler on the day after the wedding and 100 Thaler a year for life by the brother of the bride. The name of the brother of the bride was Johann Friedrich Meyer from Sieden. The latter also gave 1 horse, 2 cows, 2 pigs and 10 sheep to Hermann Michaelis. He also had to supply a 'Molt' of rye, a carriage for the bride, beds, cooking utensils and clothing. In addition the father of the bride had to pay Hermann Michaelis 100 Thaler on the wedding day. The first one's name was spelled Johann Michaelis and the second one's name was spelled Johann Michaels. I only have details of the first family.
