JOYCE D. MORSE The funeral for Joyce D. Morse, 62, of Lahoma, will be 2 p.m.Wednesday at Cimmarron High School Gymnasium. W.C. Bill Smith,pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery.Arrangements are by Wharton Funeral Chapel. Visitation with the familywill be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.Wednesday at Community Bible Church. She was born Jan. 16, 1944, in Alva, to Theresa Emily Stevens andHarold Gustav Kletke and died Sunday, Oct. 22, 2006, in Lahoma. She was raised on the family farm seven miles northwest of Alva. Shegraduated from Alva High School in 1961 and received a Bachelor ofArts Degree in Education from Northwestern State College on May 11,1973. She married Max Morse Feb. 5, 1969, in Dacoma. They made theirhome in Lahoma where she taught for 29 years, teaching kindergartenthrough the third grade at the Christian Life Learning Center, ZionLutheran Preschool and the Cimarron Public Schools. She was a memberof Zion Lutheran and attended the Community Bible Church, theAssociation of Professional Oklahoma Educators and The Cherokee StripReading Council. Surviving are her husband Max; son, Barry; daughter, Kimberly; threebrothers, Dale of Aurora, Colo., Edward and Jason, both of Alva; andone granddaughter. Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Community BibleChurch Building Fund.
