Obituaries from the Pendleton Times, 28 Jun 2001 Carl Brown Teter Carl B. Teter, age 75, Seneca Rocks, died Sunday, June 24, 2001, atGrant Memorial Hospital, Petersburg. He had been in declining healthfor the past several months Mr. Teter was born on Timber Ridge at Onego on March 22, 1926, theyoungest son of the late Floyd and Sarah Pallie Harper Teter. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the US Army from1944-1952, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Elkins, AmericanLegion, Elkins, and the Seneca United Methodist church, in Onego. On November 9, 1947, in Harman, he was united in marriage to Joan LoisRoy, who survives at Seneca Rocks. Mr. Teter is also survived by three daughters, Carolyn Joan an dherhusband, Charles L. Church, Valley Bend, Vickie Sue and her husband,Gary A. Crosston, Elkins, and Carlotta Jill and her husband, GregoryL. Brown, Seneca Rocks; one grandson, Kory Cullen "KC" Crosston,Elkins; and two granddaughters, SaraJo Louise Brown and BethanyJohanna Brown, Seneca Rocks; one brother, Guy Teter, Seneca Rocks,;three sisters, Zernie Teter, Onego, Hicel Roy and Joy Hedrick, both ofElkins and also a special God daughter, Lorraine Louise Kimble, Onego;and several other nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Brook and Delmer Teter,and four sisters Mabel "Doll" Harman, Louise Kimble, Cleda Teter andMamie Teter. The Rev. Marvin Frankhouser and the Rev. Barbara Rexrode conducted thefuneral 2 p.m. Saturday at the Seneca United Methodist Church inOnego. Burial was at the Kimble family cemetery, Onego. Memorials may be made to the Pendleton County Rescue Squad. Arrangements were under the direction of the Basagic Funeral Home inFranklin.
