Obituary Published in the Visalia Times-Delta on August 17, 2010 Lois N. Rippy went home to her Savior, August 12, 2010, at the age of83. Lois moved to Visalia with her family from Anaheim when she wassix years old. She graduated from Visalia Unified High School in 1944and received an Associates Degree from Visalia Junior college. Sheworked at various office jobs in town and briefly as an elementaryteacher before she met her husband, B. E. Rippy, and started herfamily. She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, and addingto her teddy bear collection. Though not outgoing, she made friendseasily and was well liked by those she met and those who helped takecare of her in her final years. Lois is preceded in death by herhusband of 45 years, B. E. Rippy. She is survived by her fourchildren, Katherine (Thomas) Bostrom, Susan (John) Mitchell, MargaretWoolbright, Robert Rippy, brother, Herbert (Barbara) Lembcke, sister,Linda (Richard) Tappe; eight grandchildren, and four greatgrandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will beheld at Grace Lutheran on Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at 10:30 p.m.Private interment. Condolences may be offered at www.millerchapel.com.
