Obituary Mrs. Elizabeth Stubert, 85, pioneer resident of McClusky, diedSaturday at the State Hospital in Jamestown where she had lived for 40years. The former Elizabeth Tonn, was born October 30, 1883 in South Russiaand married Gottlieb Stubert there in 1900. They came to this countryin 1907, settling in the McClusky vicinity where they farmed. Afterher husband's death in 1922, the family remained on the farm for oneyear and then moved into McClusky where she lived until 1929 when sheentered the State Hospital. She leaves one son, William, Regan, and six daughters, Mrs. John(Mary) Burkart, McClusky; Mrs. Christ (Lena) Hausauer, Bismarck; Mrs.Gust (Pauline) Schuh, Goodrich; Rebecca Stubert, Highland Acres, N.J.;Mrs. Gottlieb (Emma) Buchholz, Regan, and Mrs. Dale (Betty) Raulerson,San Francisco, Calif. She also leaves 21 grandchildren and 35great-grandchildren. Funeral services were to be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in All FaithsChapel at Jamestown with the Rev. Paul Knutson, hospital chaplain,officiating. Burial will be in the hospital cemetery. (Haut FuneralHome, Jamestown)
