Wilhelm VII. von Montferrat († 1177), genannt Wilhelm Longaspatha (Langschwert), war der Sohn von Wilhelm VI., Markgraf von Montferrat und der Judith von Österreich aus dem Hause Babenberger somit Urenkel des Kaisers Heinrich IV . Er war der ältere Bruder von Konrad und Bonifatius I. von Montferrat, den beiden anderen bekannten Söhnen Wilhelms VI.
1176 suchten Raimund III. von Tripolis und Balduin IV., der König von Jerusalem ihn als Ehemann für Balduins Schwester Sibylle aus. Wilhelm bekam bei der Hochzeit die Grafschaft Jaffa undAskalon. Die Verbindung war nicht von Langer Dauer, da Wilhelm bereits 1177 starb, während Sibylle mit dem späteren König Balduin V. schwanger war.
