Hvalimir or Hvalimir of Serbia was briefly the Župan of Duklja before Pavle Branović took the throne in 917. He regained the rule of Serbia in 950.
He was the oldest son to Petar who gave him Duklja before his death: the region of Zenta with its cities and these zupanias: Lusca, Podlugiae, Gorsca, Cupelnich, Obliquus, Prapratna, Cermenica, Budva with Cuceva and Gripuli.[1] He gained back Serbia after Časlav Klonimirović's death in 950.
He died of old age and distributed his rule among his three sons; Petrislav ruled Duklja, Dragimir ruled Travunia and Miroslav ruled Podgoria.
