Heinrich I. gründete 1135 mit seiner Gemahlin das Kloster Kaisheim, hatte viel Besitz im Pustertal und bekriegte und verjagte seinen Cousin Berthold den Jüngeren zu Burgeck. Er bedrängte das Kloster Rott, das Papst Innocenz II. zu schützen versuchte.
