BARBARA WORTMILLER

PARENTS: I have assumed JOHN because he is the only person of that name in the area that fits and since JOHN is apparently her brother since she is named as S.I.L. and received his wife's estate and her son HENRY was called nephew in that will. A YARIC WORTMILLER is buried in the same cemetary as BARBARA's husband LEWIS. /PCGR52

AFTER 1846- There is a BARBARY, 70, living with a WM WAGGONER, 45 and his wife ELIZABETH, 35 in Washington Co, TN, 19 Dec 1850. Several ancestry.com Trees give him as HENRY, BARBARA's son. They show her death as 1858 there, no sources. The only support for this theory is that her son ADAM also moved to that county and Morton's History gives HENRY as moving to TN.

1830- BARBARA, 60-70, lived in Pendleton with one male 5-10, two 20-30, one 50-60, one female 5-10 and one 30-40. /C1830VA pg 71

7 Aug 1834- The will of MARY MARGARET WORTMILLER left her estate to her S.I.L. BARBARA WORTMILLER with whom she lived. /TOOTHMAN PR pg 90

1840- A female 70-80 lived with her son HENRY'S family in Pendleton. /CENSUS 1840

1 Sep 1845- Grantor, deed, all rights of dower to land on S Fk to ADAM WAGONER for $50/818707
