<p>Immigrated 6 May 1893 .Came to Le Mars in 1905with Emile John. 1910 immigated to Canada .Son, John born 1906(died).1916 is in township range 22 .9 Magrath.He was 17 when he came from port of Hamburg to New York (Ellis Island) Of Prussian ethnicity, Sailed on the Gellert. His records state he was a farmer-from Eschenlege , Prussia..nearest we can see is Eschenloge--in Bavaria right on Swiss Border...(So, German). But his birthplace was Pommern in Pomerania on the Baltic--a different part of Prussia.</p>He first married Johanna Fredericka Fellger from Wurtenberg Germany--on 18 Feb 1905.she probably died in childbirth as their child , Alvina was born in 1906. He married Anna Resen(spelled various ways) in 1907.
