The Last will and Testament of Rosina Kluegel deceased. In the name of God Amen. I Eva Rosina Kluegel of the County of Perry in the state of Missouri being mindful(ly) of the mortality do this twent(y)eth day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty four make and publish this my last will and testament in manner following: First, I give and bequeath unto my daughter Rosina Nitzschke fifty dollars out of the treasury of the Lutheran Congregation that emigrated from Germany to the United States of America in the year of Our Lord 1839. Second, I give and bequeathunto my daughters Christine Ja(e)ger and Rosina Nitzschke all my clothing to be equally divided between them. Third, I give and bequeath unto my sons George and William Kluegel all my personal property upon this condition that the brother that shall live the longest shall have all the property that I bequeath to both brothers. Fourth, I do hereby constitute and appoint by son George Kluegel soleexecutor of this my last will and testament. Per testimony whereof I have herewith set my hand and seal this 20th day of January AD 1844. Signed published and declared by the also named Eva Rosina Kluegel as and for her last will and testament in presence of us who at her request have signed as witnesses to the same. McPherson and John Seibel who being duly sworn on oath sayeth that they did see Eva Rosina Kluegel sign her name to the foregoing instrument of writing and at the time of so doing she was of sound and disposing mind, memory and understanding to thebest of their knowledge and belief and that they the same witnesses subscribed their names there to in the presence of said testatrix and in presence of each other.
