Here's some addition information I found on Ira S. Faist (son of Jacob)Ira attended Elkton High School. In 1919 he was hired as bookkeeper for the Elkton Elevator Company. In 1937 he became manager of the Elevator. He worked in agriculture for nearly 50 yrs., retiring in 1967. Member of the Elkton Rotary Club. C0-chairman of the building committee for the fellowship hall & educational unit at the St. Paul's E.U.B. Church in 1954, and treasurer of the Church for 26 yrs. He was a board member of Bay Shore Camp for many years. Ira and Lila purchased a home in Elkton in 1925, located at 94 S. Main St. The family was raised in this home. In 1950, they built a new home at 5066 Day St., where they resided until their deaths. They attened the Elkton United Methodist Church (formerly St. Paul's Evangelical Church).
