Does not appear in 1900 US census for Michigan. 1910 U.S. census enumerated with Stanbus, Louis. Volume 34, Enumeration District 0028, Family No. 0039. 1920 U.S. census enumerated with Joseph Krupp to whom he was grand-father. Age is given as 88, born in Germany. Name appears as Christian WURTZ. In Huron County, city of Sebewaing Volume 35, Enumeration District , sheet 6, line. Paula Chodacki says the marriage was two or three years after the birth of Albertine. Christian and Louisa Wurtz immigrated from Baierabronn,Germany in 1856. Christian's mother Eva Klumpp Wurz died when he was 4 and a half yrs. old. His father died when he was 11 yrs. old. He had only one grandmother, Ursula Truk Klumpp, who died when he was 15 yrs. old. Imigrated to Crediton, Ontario, CAN in 1856. They farmed in Crediton from about 1857 to about 1900, and then moved to Pigeon, MI., where most of their children had settled. Died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. James Pedler.
