Viola C. Enter , 91, of New London, Wis., and formerly of Nicollet, died Monday, Oct, 8, 2001, at St. Joseph Residence in New London.
Services are 5 p.m. Wednesday at Emanuel Lutheran Church in New London.
Visitation starts at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the church in New London. A second funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Nicollet.
Visitation will be Friday from noon until the time of service at the church in Nicollet. Burial will follow in the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery, rural Nicollet.
Arrangements are being handled in Wisconsin by the Cline & Hanson Funeral Home in New London and in Nicollet by the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in Nicollet.
She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Dianne and Arthur Gerndt of New London, Mary Ann and Robert Leopold of Reedsburg, Wis.; son and daughter-in-law, Ivan and Janine Enter of Nicollet; sisters, Edith Pettengell of Trinidad, Colo.,
Esther Enter of Nicollet, Ardella Bruns of Mankato; sister and brother-in-law, Lillian and Joel Gerlach of Wauwatosa, Wis.; sisters-in-law Myrtle Bode of Nicollet, Violet Bode of Nicollet, Glenda Bode of Colorado Springs, Colo.; nine
grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Enter, in 1966; and brothers Alfred, Martin, Elden, Rueben, Raymond, and Elmer and by a sister, Gertrude Stolt. She was born Dec. 14, 1909, in Nicollet to Martin and Emilie (Dueball) Bode. She
married Harvey H. Enter on Dec. 14, 1938. She worked as a Registered Nurse at the Union Hospital in New Ulm. In 1972 she moved to New London, Wisc., where she worked as a Registered Nurse at the New London Family Medical Center until her
retirement in 1978. She was a former member of the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Nicollet and a current member of the Emanuel Lutheran Church in New London.
