Patricia "Pat" Poehler, 58, of Route 1 Courtland died Thursday, January 21, 1999 at her home in rural Courtland.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, rural Courtland, with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be 4 - 9 p.m. Sunday and will continue from 7:30 a.m. until 8:00 a.m. Monday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm and one hour prior theservice at the church
She is survived by her husband Duane of Courtland; daughters and son-in-law Julie and Steve Leonard of St. Peter, Jody Flowers of Courtland; son and daughter-in-law Allan and Jodi Poehler of Courtland; granchildren Joshawa Leonard and Amber and
April Flowers; great -grandson Devon Leonard; step-mother Ellen Bode of St. Peter; sisters and brothers-in-law, Carol and LyleWills of Nicollet, Jean and Ron Thill of Courtland; step-brother James Reinhart and his wife Diane of St. Peter;
sisters-in-law Alice Thompson of Dassel, Pearl Martens and her husband Oliver of Nicollet, Sylvia Hulke and her husband Harley of Courtland.
She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson Michael Flowers; step-brother Mark Reinhart.
She was born Feb. 21, 1940 in New Ulm to Clifford and Lillian (Hippert) Bode. She attended the Immanuel Lutheran School in rural Courtland and Nicollet Public High School where she graduated in 1958. After graduation she married Duane Poehler
on Jun. 7, 1958 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in rural Courtland. They farmed her husband's family farm in Courtland Township, Nicollet County. She worked for twelve years at the Highland Manor Nursing Home in New Ulm and for a year and
one-half she was empolyed at Hutchinson Technology, Inc. in Hutchinson. She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in rural Courtland.
