Ruth Dallmann , 89, of Nicollet, died Monday, June 16, 2003, at the Grandview Care Center in St. Peter.

Funeral service will be 2:30 p.m. Thursday, June 19, 2003, at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Courtland Township, Nicollet County, with Pastor Wayne Bernau officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be 1 - 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the church. Arrangements are being handled by the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in Nicollet.

Ruth is survived by a sister-in-law, Lila Bode, a resident of the St. Peter Health Care Center; and by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Daniel C. Dallmann on Oct. 29, 1989; a daughter, Janis
Dallmann on May 21, 1958; brothers Alfred, Gerhard, Theodore, Hilbert, Louis, and Carl Bode; and by sisters, Mabel Braun and Selma Apitz.

Ruth Helena Dallmann, the daughter of Louis and Mary (Becker) Bode was born on April 2, 1914, in Nicollet Township, Nicollet County. She attended Immanuel Lutheran School, rural Courtland. On April 13, 1936, she was united in marriage to Daniel
C. Dallmann at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, rural Courtland. After marriage they farmed in Nicollet Township, Nicollet County. They retired in 1977, and moved to Nicollet in 1978. For 10 years Ruth worked at the Johnson Uniform Company in St.
Peter. She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church, and a charter member of the Dorcas Society. She was a resident of the Grandview Care Center since February of 2003.

In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials to the Immanuel Lutheran School, the Dorcas Society, or the Immanuel St. Joseph Hospice program
