Nach dem Vater Ernst bewirtschaftete anschließend der Sohn Heinrich Oberscheidt die Ländereien weiter, dem der Stiefsohn Karl Alfred Zimmermann folgte. Heute ist der Oberscheidts Hof, wie Haarzopfer ihn nennen, der letzte landwirtschaftlich genutzte Hof in Haarzopf. Er ist ein Pachthof des Freiherrn von Vittinghoff gen. Schell.
