Am 14. 4. 1024 stiftet sie gemeinsam mit ihrem Gemahl das Kloster Brauweiler und begründet dort in Erinnerung an ihre Mutter Theophanu (AL. 31/127 B) die besondere Verehrung des heiligen Nikolaus. Sie wird dort auch beigesetzt. Ihr Bruder Kaiser Otto III (* 980, + 1002) wird ohne formell kanonisiert zu sein in Polen als Heiliger verehrt. Ihre Schwestern Adelheid und Sophia sind Äbtissinnen von Gandersheim und Quedlinburg. Von ihren zehn Kindern wurden sieben Äbtissinnen und einer Erzbischof von Köln.
