gefallen im 1. Weltkrieg in Frankreich.

Nachruf in der "Allgäuer Kriegschronik":

"...in Siefenhofen als Gastwirtssohn geboren, diente in den Jahren 1896-98 beim 8. Inf. Rgt in Metz. Am 14. Sept 1914 zum 20. Inf. Rgt. nach Lindau einberufen, kam er am 18. Nov. 1914 gegen den Feind. Am 16. Mai 1917 machte eine Granate senem jungen Leben ein Ende."
