When the Primus family first came to Cleulis, they discovered that there was not a way to get water up the mountain. They deciided that they would not bring their families to settle here unless they could discover a way to get the water up the mountain. Giovanni Battista Primus (b. 1706) discovered how to do this and and today (30 Dec 2011) that fountain is still there surrounded by an iron fence. Thus the name di Fontana. This information was reported to Loretta primus on 4 Jul 2007 by Father Tarcisio Puntel, her 3rd cousin and my 6th cousin.
