Stone reads Henry Krull Co. H 5Mo. S.M.Cav. Henry served in the UnionArmy during the Civil War. He was trampled by a mule train and crippled for life. He turned to alcohol to kill the chronic pain he had in his head and back. When his wife tried to divorce him the judge insteadinstitutionalized him in an asylum. John Krull on April 14, 1885 was filing a petition, as guardian of the person and estate of Henry Krull,for the sale of real estate located in Andrew County. Appraise as hisshare being $ 100.00 Apparently his share left him in Will of Lewis Krull who died April 15, 1884. Henry owned no personal property. Had a wife and four minor children.Henry Zimmermann purchased estate of HenryKrull. Henry, John and William Krull fought the Confederate Guerillaunder Quantrilla. --

Henry Johann Krull was born in Wobbelin, Germany, came to the United States with his Mother and a number of brothers and sisters, the familylived in a number of places before Henry settled down in Missouri.During the Civil War he and his brother John join the Company H of the Missouri 5th Cavalry where he served as a Private.While in the Army Henry suffered injuries when trampled by mules, he received serious enoughinjuries that he was crippled for life.He was married two times and during the second marriage he was divorced, his second wife sued him for divorce due to alcoholism and to receive part of his pension which he received due to injuries received during the war.The judge awarded the divorce and sent Henry to an asslyum, where he died sometime later.His first wife was Louisa..
