Sammlung von Ahnen Günther aus Grifte, Fehr und Bätzing aus Guxhagen, Hose aus Wabern sowie weiteren Vorfahren meist aus Nordhessen. Die Angehörigen der Familie Günther haben von ca. 1700 bis 1957 über mehr als 250 Jahre das Zimmererhandwerk ausgeübt und in dieser Zeit unzählige Gebäude in Grifte und dessen Umgebung errichtet. Die Familie hat sich in dieser Zeit auch mit anderen Gewerben in die Orte Haldorf, Gleichen und Niedervorschütz verzweigt.
