"Mrs. J.L. Brockman Dies at Huntsville; Funeral Thursday
Mrs. Georgia May Brockman, 68, died at 2:25 o'clock this morning at
her home on Oak street in Huntsville.
She is survived by her husband, Jake L. Brockman; two children, J.L.
Brockman, Jr., of the home and Mrs. Roscoe Wright of Jacksonville; her
mother, Mrs. Fannie Hudson, Jacksonville; three grandchildren; and six
sisters and two brothers. Mrs. Elmer Winkler, Mrs. Claude Gipson, Mrs.
Glen Buster, Mrs. Viola Lair, Darrell Hudson and Orville Hudson, all of
Jacksonville, Mrs. William McArthur, Cedar Rapids, Ia., and Mrs. Fred
Teter, Phoenix, Ariz.
Mrs. Brockman had lived in Huntsville nine years, going there from the
Brush Creek neighborhood, where she had spent practically her entire
life.
The body will be in the Patton Funeral Home until services at 2
o'clock Thursday afternoon in the Huntsville Christian Church by the
Rev. C.W. Cornn, assisted by the pastor, the Rev. Floyd W. Case. Burial
will be in Huntsville."
