"EUGENE I. ATTEBERY. Committal services will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday in
Memorial Park cemetery for Eugene Irving Attebery, an Oklahoma City
carpenter and construction man [for] more than 25 years, who died Monday
in Canon City, Colo. Arrangements are under [the] direction of Hahn-
Cook funeral home.
Attebery was born in Missouri, and first came to Oklahoma City in 1903.
He supervised the construction of the "Old King Brewery" -- then Oklahoma
City's tallest building -- which later became an ice plant. He returned
to Oklahoma City in 1921, and lived here until his retirement in 1946."
