Elizabeth Bayer, the mother of Henry,
Philip, John and Andrew Bayer, died
yesterday. She was born in Morsheim,
Rhine Baverniau, the 12th cf October,
1811. She was married to Henry Bayer
in the year of 1832. She, along with
her husband, was one of the first

on the farm with her children who hel-
ped her. For more than 30 years she
has suffered from chronic catarrh of
stomach and bowels. In spite of this
trouble she reached the ripe age of
73 years, 10 months, 7 days. She leav-
es 7 children, 5 sons and 2 daughters,
36 grandchildren and 4 great grand -
children.
