Jacob George, 81, a life long resident of Strykersville, died at his home Monday morning, December 27th.
He is survived by his widow, Mary Romesser George; five daughters, Mrs. Eleanor Winch of Attica, Mrs. Anna Reisdorf, Mrs. Cecila Kirsch and Mrs. Teresa Schiltz of Strykersville and Mary George at home; one son Herbert George at home; twenty grandchildren; also two brothers, Frank and Alouis George of Strykersville. A daughter, Mrs. Olive Reisdorf, preceded him in death.
The funeral was held from St. Cecilias's church, Sheldon, Thursday, December 30th at 10 o'clock with Rev. Norman George officiating. Rev. George Koch and Rev. Charles Gampp war present in the sanctuary.
