<p>Anna was the illegitemate daughter of Josephine. When Torstin and Beret arrived in Canada, Anna was raised as their daughter. Josie's fiance left for the gold fields and was never heard from again. (Linda Eby)</p><p><p></p></p><p><p>Josephine immigrated Oct. 31, 1888 at the age of 17 years from Borsa (Borsen) to New York on the ship "Cunard". She died at the age of 90 years. She was also known as Josie.</p><p>Her second marriage (Mabson) shows that Miriam known as Mamie, married a John McCann, and showed also a daughter Elizabeth, with no birth date and also daughter, Ruby, no birth date.Elizabeth married Lou Berg.(Julie Earl - Dec. 2001)
