| Nachruf Barbara Mae Draves Barbara Mae Draves, 70, aus Fond du Lac, starb am Freitag, den 25. Oktober 2013 im St. Agnes Hospital. Sie wurde am 9. Mai 1943 in Fond du Lac, der jüngsten Tochter von Matthew T. und Frances Mae Theyerl Gross, geboren. Barbara besuchte St. Patrick's Grundschule und war 1961 Absolvent der L. P. Goodrich High School. Am 24. Juni 1961 heiratete Barbara ihre Jugendliebe und ihren Prinzen David C. Draves in der St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Barbara arbeitete an der St. Mary's Grundschule, um während ihrer Grundschulzeit in der Nähe ihrer Kinder zu sein. Später arbeitete sie für die Goodrich High School Library, die Klinzing & Michelwitz Accounting und die Fox Valley Savings Bank. Religion war ihr sehr wichtig und sie war Mitglied der Holy Family Parish, St. Peter Church. Barbara liebte Mackinac Island, tanzte, machte Kreuzworträtsel, las und umarmte Computerspiele. Sie genoss auch das Einmachen, Golfen, Gartenarbeit, Wandern und Campen an vielen Wochenenden an einem ihrer Lieblingsplätze, Lake of the Woods. Sie war eine tadellose Rekordhalterin, liebte Geschichte und Antiquitäten. Barbara war eine wundervolle Frau und Mutter und liebte Familientreffen, sie war eine tolle Köchin und Bäckerin, liebte Familienfotos und ließ ihr Haus für die Feiertage immer an den Neunzigern dekorieren. Barbara und ihre Familie vertieften sich in Hockey, trainierten Mädchenteams, besuchten viele Wochenendturniere und halfen sogar beim Fahren der Zamboni. Sie wird von ihrem Ehemann David überlebt; fünf Kinder, Teresa (Wille) Draves Daane, Fond du Lac, Steve Draves, Fond du Lac, Dan (Heide) Draves, Byron, Engel (Kent) Stoddard, Seymour, Scott (Paula) Draves, Waupun; acht Enkelkinder, Cody, Matt, Lisa, Jenny, McKenna, Skyler, Charley und Rena; ein Urenkel, Travis. Sie wird weiter von einer Schwester, Mary Curran, Fond du Lac überlebt; ein Bruder, Jim Gross, Janesville; Nichten, Neffen, andere Verwandte, Freunde und ihr Hund, Rocky. Sie wurde im Tod von ihren Eltern vorangegangen; drei Schwestern, Geri (Willard) Secor, Bernice (Ray) Puddy, Pat (Gene) Barnes; ein Bruder, Tom (Audrey) Gross; ein Schwager, Bud Curran. |
