Divorced in August, 1966. Source - Jerry Stuth. Josephine Ann (Joe Ann) Hurst, who loved life and her family, passed away August 18, 2010. She was born in Kingsville, Texas to the late Harry P. and Irene M. Stuth. Her grandparents, Joseph and Josephine Donahue Mahoney were members of the first pioneer Irish Families to settle in San Patricio, TX in 1830. Joe Ann earned a Business Administration Degree from Corpus Christi State University. Her business career was centered in the fields of insurance and marketing. She enjoyed her volunteer work especially at the Mc Nay Art Museum and the Majestic Theater. Joe Ann is survived by her sons, Allan Hurst (Patricia) of Hot Springs AR; Chris Hurst (Diane) of Austin, TX; and her daughter, Lisa Ann Hurst of San Antonio, TX; grandsons, Jacob and Asher; great-grandson, Ty; her brother, Harry P. Stuth, Jr. of Dallas, TX, and her sister, Marjorie J. Stuth of Tahlequah, OK. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that a donation be made to a favorite charity. The family will receive friends between 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. followed by a rosary at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, August 20, 2010 at the Sunset Memorial Chapel, 1701 Austin Highway. Services will be held at St. Margaret's Episcopal Church on Saturday, August 21, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. Burial services will be at Seaside Memorial Chapel, Corpus Christi, TX at a later date.
