Hagen Clara Ida Berta Stamnitz 14 November 1912 NDG Coshatte - The cemeteries of Austin County, Texas Bellville Times Funeral services for Clara Hagen, 92, of Bellville, were held Wednesday, May 18, 2005 at 2 p.m. from The Bellville United Methodist Church with the Rev. Wayne Middleton officiating. Interment was in Coshatte Cemetery near Bellville. Pallbearers for the service were grandsons: Tim Hagen; Trent Hagen; Kyle Hagen; Damon Hagen; Ward Hagen; and Shane Pfeffer. Born in Kenney, Clara Stamnitz was the daughter of Gus Stamnitz Sr. and Elizabeth Patent Stamnitz. She was raised in the Community of Ives Creek and attended the Ives Creek Public School. On October 1, 1934, Clara and Mr. Gardner Hagen were married with ceremony held in Bellville. Mrs. Hagen was a meat cutter by trade, a member of Bellville United Methodist Church and the Sons off Herman lodge. Clara Hagen passed away Sunday, May 15, 2005 in Bellville. Survived by her children and their spouses; Emily and Sam Pfeffer of Bellville; Billy and Linda Hagen of Columbus; Bobby and Joannah Hagen of Bellville; James and Doris Hagen of Bellville; her sister: Norma Krumrey of Bellville; brother-in-law: Otto Patterson of Meridian, Texas; 8 grandchildren: Tim Hagen and wife Therese of Sealy; Ward Hagen and friend Amy Wright of Sealy; Damon Hagen and wife Dana of Bellville; trent Hagen of Columbus; Kyle Hagen and wife, Kim of Lexington, Kentucky; Shane, Pfeffer and wife, Sheila of New Braunfels; Maura Burns and husband David of LaVernia; Stacey Cano and husband John of Bellville; 11 great-grandchildren: Lauren Hagen of Austin; Erin Wernecke and husband Dustin of Sealy; Nick Hagen of Sealy; Samantha Hagen of Bellville; Colten and Hope Pfeffer of New Braunfels; Blake, Morgan and Kate Burns of LaVernia; Amber and John Cano of Bellville; one great-great-grandchild: Haden Wernecke of Sealy; and special friend Edith Krueger. Preceded in death by her parents Gus and Elizabeth Stamnitz; husband Gardner Hagen Sr.; son, Gardner Hagen Jr.; sisters Annie Konarik; Lillie Stamnitz; Magerlen Patterson; and her brothers Sam; Willie; Emil; Gus Jr.; Charlie and Adolph Stamnitz.
