Anno 1729 d. 20 Januari ist begraben worden Matthias Schwarcke, welcher mit seinem Schwager dem Jochim Seyern zwischen d. 12 und 13ten Januari zu mitten der Nacht mit einer Fuhr Korn nach Wismar fahren wollen alß sie aber zu Steffenshagenen über des Utesch Hoff [gefahren waren] muß wol das Pferd gescheubbelt haben, und fält abgedachter Schwarcke vom Pferde herunter und kommt gleich vor dem Schlitten zu liegen und weil so bald keine Rettung gescheh können, ist er in dem Augenblick von dem Schlitten mit vollem Korn erdrückt worden. -- Kirchbuch Rethwisch, Sterbebuch, 29.1.1729
