Water St., Apt. 2, Lomira, WI passed away on Saturday, March 6, 2010 at her home surrounded by her family. A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 12 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Lomira, WI with Rev. Dan Schmidt officiating. A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 11 from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at the Koepsell Funeral Home, Mayville, WI and also on Friday from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the church. Burial will take place at Union Cemetery, Theresa, WI. Lillie was born the daughter of Henry and Helena (Schmiedeke) Heinecke on April 1, 1920 in Theresa. Lillie was united in marriage to Ernest Kallsen on January 1, 1944 at St. Peter Ev. Lutheran Church, Theresa. She spent her life as a homemaker and worked part-time in Dr. Gregory Langenfeld’s office in Theresa. Lillie was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Lomira, and a former member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Lomira where she taught Sunday School, and was also in the choir and the Ladies Aid. Lillie enjoyed her family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed crafts and traveling on tours. Lillie is survived by her husband Ernest of 66 years; son-in-law, Steven Ferguson, Fond du Lac, grandchildren; Tammy (Jeff) Bloedorn, Oconomowoc, Joel (Shannon) Ferguson, Fond du Lac, and great-grandchildren Brad, Nate, Sydney, Chelsea, and Samuel, nieces & nephews other relatives & friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her two children, Ellen Ferguson and James Brian, her sister, Leona Strege; brother-in-law Gerhard Strege. -- Obituary, Lillie Kallsen
