Luise Hurdelbrink schrieb wöchentliche Artikel in verschiedenen Zeitungen des Osnabrücker und Meller Landes, und zwar in Mundart (Plattdeutsch, Dialekt). Nach ihrem Tod wurden die Artikel zu einem Buch zusammengefasst: van Grönenbiärge.
Luise Hurdelbrink war die Patentante meiner Mutter Marie Luise Wegner, geb. Brünger. Meine Mutter liebte sie sehr.
Luise lebte mit ihrem Mann und ihrer Familie in Altenmelle-Gehrden, In der Selhofe.
Von ihrem Mann bekam sie eine Nähmaschine geschenkt, die sie ihr ganzes Leben lang begleitete. Sie nähte für ihre Familie und in den Kriegs- und Nachkriegszeiten auch in Heimarbeit. Hierzu gibt es ein Kapitel in van Grönenbiärge.
