Cathy Lippert has in her file that Heinrich G B Lippert's wife was Emelie Louise Cementine Auersbach, born 22 March 1808 in Wuerbitz, Silesia, Prussia, and died 12 December 1891 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Here are her notes about Emelie:
family described as gentry (above tradesmen, below aristocracy); in Germany, had her own carriage and footmen
Parents: father was general superintendent of Lutheran ministers in Prussia
Burial place: Wesleyan Cemetery on Colerain Ave.
Residence: 1851/2 Cincinnati Directory - sw corner Clifton & Locust; with son Otto after husband died; in deposition for Eugene's pension (1888) is 44 Bank St.
Sibling: in Eugene's pension application, Otto says his mother had a brother who was insane in his old age [so they must have been in touch with her family]
[The pension talked about was that of Heinrich & Emelie's son Eugene, who was in the Civil War. I will try to get a copy of that pension file.]
